"I enjoyed being able to participate in a project that was pressure free and allowing 'bits' of my creative side to emerge!"

‘Creative Communities’ Exhibition 14-30 June 2009

‘Creative Communities’, an exhibition showcasing the outcomes from the recent BASIS workshops runs from 15-30 June 2009 at Eastwood Theatre, Giffnock – all welcome.

‘The Wisdom of Barrhead and Neilston’

'The Wisdom of Barrhead and Neilston', published by Barrhead Housing Association, was distributed as a free gift to every one of the 7,500 households in Barrhead and Neilston in June 2009.

A billboard at Barrhead Rail Station and bus stop advertisements on Barrhead Main Street are promoting the book in June and July 2009. Ken Mackintosh MP joined Shirley Robison, Director of Barrhead Housing Association, and staff and pupils from St Luke's at a press photocall at the billboard to promote the book.

An event celebrating the launch of ‘The Wisdom of Barrhead and Neilston’ was held at Arthurlie House, Barrhead, on Saturday June 20 from 1.30-3pm to which all were welcome.
