Celluloid Secrets

Do you have any old film footage of Barrhead or Neilston hidden away in your loft or closet?

As part of the BASIS (Barrhead Art and Social Inclusion Project), artist Helen McCrorie is initating a collection of archive footage showing local places, events and industries in days gone by. The archive will be held at Barrhead library for public viewing.

Suitable films will be transferred to DVD and a copy held in the library. The films will then be returned to their owners along with a free copy on video or DVD.
